While these are not major maize-producing countries (Bulgaria has 340 000 hectares, the Czech Republic 260 000 hectares, and Slovenia 70 000 hectares), they are still monitored with business and regulatory intelligence.  The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia (a member of the National Chamber of Agriculture and of the CEPM), the Association of Czech seed producers and the Bulgarian coordination committee of professional organisations (also a CEPM member) are the main contact bodies for the FNPSMS.
